Even in the coldest of weather, I have enjoyed walking through the Maidenrock area. My first venture there in winter, it was sunrise and the temps were -5 F. I was intrigued by the sunlight penetrating the frost on the sage, the variety of cool blues on the snow, with touches of \u201cwarm\u201d hues where sunlit.
