Overlooking the river, this painting was done on site, in Dalyan. The tombs there were carved into the cliff faces dating to the time of the Lycians. (5th century B.C.) Lycia was found on the southwest coast of Anatolia, or modern-day Turkey. Today, there are plentiful, spectacular tombs to be found throughout the area.
