Another favorite subject to paint and photograph while I am out walking, is rabbit brush. When not blooming, it is difficult to distinguish from sagebrush. When rabbit brush has finished blooming, it turns an ivory golden color and I find it most attractive.
This painting was the first acrylic I ever entered into a juried show for acrylics. It was accepted into the Acrylic Painters USA national juried show and exhibited at the ArtCenter Manatee in Bradenton, Florida in 2021.
