Snoqualmie

This is a larger variation of “Cool Waters,” also of Snoqualmie Falls as its subject. I love the contrasts of darks and lights, softness and hard edges, the cool of the water and warm colors of the rocks.  There is a deafening sound when close up, and also a mist that soon coats your skin and clothing. When looking at details, you see debris, such as the fallen log trapped on rocks above. I wonder how long such things can withstand the constant beating before they disintegrate into unrecognizable form.
