Inspired by mountain waterfalls, in this watercolor I attempted to capture the speed, spray and coolness of rapidly falling water. Sharp-edged rocks, when submerged, become softened as mist disguises their hardness. The sheer drop from above creates a mighty force with great sounds of crashing water and a rising mist.
