As you might have guessed, the colors of fall are truly my favorite time. If painting outdoors, it is the most comfortable of the seasons. Summer can be too dry and too hot while spring can be rainy and/or cool. Many dedicated plein-air painters do paint in winter, but the proper gear is important.
