Driving around in uptown Butte is an adventure, almost worthy of a jeep or ATV. Neighborhood roads twist and turn, end abruptly or take you to unexpected places. Mine yards, dumps, headframes, all neighbors to houses in various states of disrepair or disregard. But there are even some promising new buildings on this historic hill that once housed the miners on “the richest hill on earth”.
