Le Vigneron (Vineyard Owner)

On a wine tasting tour in the Beaujolais region of France, I was intrigued by the vineyard’s owner who spoke to us in French. Of course, he animatedly spoke with his hands also, and while walking along the rows of vines, occasionally, he could not help himself but reach in the back pocket of his jeans to clip a stray vine or leaf. His face told the story of his passion for his career or métier of wine making.
