Synagogue Teaching

A trip to Capernaum, along the Sea of Galilee, is worthwhile to see the excavation of the town where Jesus spent much time. The home of Peter, where his mother was healed, was said to be nearby.  The remains of a synagogue that most likely saw Jesus teaching was in afternoon light. The warm rays from the descending sun made the rock surface of the synagogue glow with golden tones. I imagined what it would have been like if one could have heard and seen Jesus instructing there.
