Our uptown area is one of the largest historic districts west of the Mississippi. This tiny building, that once sat on East Park St., seemed to have suddenly “disappeared” a number of years ago. Had there been any publicity about its upcoming demise, there would have been an outcry by the Preservation society and other history buffs. I do miss it, perhaps best for its “ghost” sign advertising a boot store.
