A favorite subject I return to often is of cabbage that is still growing in the garden. I like the process of its leaves unfolding and revealing new depths daily. Sometimes the colors I use are arbitrary, which I believe, help us to look again at the “lowly” cabbage and discover something of beauty and composition.
