Walking through the canyon which takes you to Petra gives you surprise glimpses along the way, as you get closer, to seeing the fabulous carved rock ancient city. In the narrow passageway, little light can get through to warm the way, but the glow from the sunlight on the façade of this historic treasure allows for anticipation and delightful views.
